Disney+ is one of the most highly anticipated streaming services that will be dropping soon on November 12th, 2019 that will be everything under The Walt Disney Company’s umbrella from Star Wars, Marvel, Pixar, Walt Disney Animation, and National Geographic.
Official poster release for The Imagineering Story coming to Disney+
One of the titles that will be released on the streaming service is The Imagineering Story about Walt Disney Imagineering for the creation of Disney Parks and attractions that fans can love and enjoy. This six-hour episodic series will cover a sixty-five year long history of the company that will be showcasing archival footage and interviews with some of Imagineers of what Imagineering is and how they do it. It was originally suppose to be a 90-minute film but, plans has changed since then.
The series wasn’t first intended for Disney+ and a trailer was first created back in 2013 when the project was first announced. Fast forwarding towards 2016 then a film was promised to drop and it didn’t. However from personal experience myself, saw footage at the D23 Expo 2015 for the “Disneyland 60th Anniversary” panel that was moderated by Disney Legend and Imagineer, Kim Irivine and other Disney Legends including Marty Sklar before he passed away.
The old trailer as shown down below when Tom Staggs as Chairman/CEO, Bob Iger’s second hand man of the company and former Chief Operations Officer, John Lasseter of Pixar were originally part of the company. Staggs was suppose to succeed Iger after he step down from the company and since then Iger has extended his stay in the company till 2021.
So much has changed since 2016 in The Walt Disney Company’s time span till present day in 2019 in which includes a behind the scenes look for the Beast audio-animatronic for the upcoming and highly anticipated Beauty and the Beast attraction coming towards Tokyo Disneyland in which you can read the full details here about it.
Walt Disney Imagineering shares a first hand look for the Beast audio-animatronic for the upcoming attraction.
Also show in the trailer was a first hand glimpse for the largest-scaled attraction that Walt Disney Imagineering and Lucasfilm Ltd., are building for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance that will be opening at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World on December 5th, 2019 and Disneyland Resort on January 17th, 2020. You feel legit ant-size for the sheer scale of how huge this attraction will be and even the full practical AT-AT walkers to immerse guests in giving the “Wow!” factor.
The current released trailer is shown down below for what’s coming towards Disney+ for The Imagineering Story.
