Universal Orlando Resort is getting a brand new theme park that is currently under construction and has been in development for a while now that was announced back in the summer of this year. Many fans in the theme park community were speculating opening dates but, were not sure of when though.

However, earlier this week from Comcast’s Q3 earrings call by executives that shared official confirmation that Universal’s Epic Universe will be opening up some point in 2023 with the date to be announced. The resort’s new park will be a 750-acre site and won’t be that far from Universal’s current parks of Universal Orlando, Islands of Adventure, and Volcano Bay. It will be located near Kirkman Road and Universal Boulevard of not a far drive for the brand new theme park.
