Guests who plan to ride last-thing-of-the-night as a strategy are getting into the worst possible window.
The best window is noon, when waits average 65 minutes, roughly 40% lower than peak afternoon and evening waits. This is counterintuitive for guests used to riding at park open, but Cosmic Rewind does not open until 10:00 AM (later than most EPCOT attractions) and builds from there.
How to Get a Shorter Wait at Cosmic Rewind
- Ride at noon: The midday window (11:30 AM to 12:30 PM) consistently produces the lowest waits of the day. Most guests are eating lunch or doing other attractions.
- Lightning Lane Single Pass: Cosmic Rewind is a Lightning Lane Single Pass attraction. It is not included in Lightning Lane Multi Pass. Individual purchase prices range from $12 to $22 depending on date and demand.
- Early Entry: Disney Resort hotel guests can access EPCOT one hour before general park opening through Early Theme Park Entry. Cosmic Rewind does not typically open during Early Entry. Verify the day of your visit in the My Disney Experience app.
