NBC Sports Grill & Brew at Universal CityWalk in Universal Orlando Resort has three basketball-inspired dishes for the 2026-27 NBA season. The restaurant will celebrate NBA Tip-Off on Tuesday, October 20, with a live DJ and referee-themed stilt walkers.
The NBA is back on NBC and Peacock, and the restaurant will offer themed food throughout the season. The entertainment is tip-off only.
- Celebration hours: 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
What’s on the NBA season menu?
The chefs created an appetizer, a chicken sandwich and a doughnut dessert for basketball fans and other hungry guests.
- Onion Hoop: This onion appetizer comes hand-battered and fried. Universal suggests enjoying it while the game is on.
- Slam Dunk Chicken Bacon Ranch Sammie: A fluffy pretzel hoagie roll holds a juicy grilled chicken breast topped with ranch seasoning and bacon. Tomatoes, red bell peppers and onions round out the vegetable toppings. House-made jalapeño queso and melty provolone cheese finish the sandwich.
- PB & Jammm: A rich cake doughnut comes with house-made serrano-strawberry jam and creamy peanut butter ice cream. Powdered sugar, crunchy peanut brittle and lemon zest complete the dessert.
Tip-off entertainment
A live DJ will play mixes during the celebration at NBC Sports Grill & Brew. Guests can also pose with referee-themed stilt walkers before heading inside for a bite and NBA basketball.
