Big news for Californians! California has announced that theme parks, such as Disneyland and Universal Studios Hollywood, can open with reduced capacity starting on April 1.
According to ABC, “theme parks may open at 15% capacity when their respective counties enter the state’s red tier designation, Dr. Mark Ghaly, secretary of California Health and Human Services, said during a conference call update on the coronavirus pandemic.”
However, this would only include outdoor rides and attractions, not indoor ones, and would only be open to residents of California. Any indoor dining is also not allowed.
This is exciting news for all theme park enthusiasts on the west coast!
