Hong Kong Disneyland Park Confirms Re-Closure Due to COVID-19
After less than a month of it’s reopening, Hong Kong Disneyland Park has announced that is will be closing again.
Due to the rise in COVID-19 cases in Hong Kong, Disney will be closing the doors to it’s Hong Kong resort again on July 15 after reopening on June 18.
This does not affect the hotels within the resort as they will remain open with increased health and safety measures.
“As required by the government and health authorities in line with prevention efforts taking place across Hong Kong, Hong Kong Disneyland park will temporarily close from July 15.” A Disney spokesperson revealed.
“The Hong Kong Disneyland Resort hotels will remain open with adjusted levels of services.”
“They have put in place enhanced health and safety measures that reflect the guidance of health and government authorities, such as social distancing measures and increased cleaning and sanitization.”
