Guests of the two-night Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser will have a port day on Batuu, and here is how they’ll be shuttled down to the planet’s surface.
Still set to open later this year (at least as of now,) the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser will be an immersive role-play experience set within a cruise-ship style hotel at the Walt Disney World Resort.

Guests will all arrive at the same time, and (in the story) be shuttled from the ground up to a luxury space cruise ship hovering above the planet named the Halcyon.
During your stay you’ll get to live your own Star Wars story, including a lightsaber training session, enjoying the ship’s amenities, and even finding yourself in the middle of a chance encounter with the First Order.

On one of the days of your stay your family will have the chance to shuttle back down to the planet’s surface for a visit to the Black Spire Outpost, otherwise known at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This visit to the theme park is included in your stay.
Before you can take your turn on Millenium Falcon: Smugglers Run, escape for your life on Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, or order that Ronto Wrap and Blue Milk, you’ll first need to board a “shuttle” to travel back down to the ground.
Of course, you’re not really going to space, as the hotel itself is located right behind Hollywood Studios, but you will need to ride through some backstage roads to get from the hotel to the Star Wars themed land.
To get from point A to point B, and while staying on theme, Disney will be utilizing another kind of shuttle: the kind that’s a bus.
A bus will park against a bay behind the hotel. Passengers will board using an airport-style connection, so as to not reveal the real world in the process.
Once onboard, engine sound effects will shield you from reality. While many believe this shuttle will feature screen-based windows to simulate your flight to and from the planet, Disney’s own official concept art doesn’t seem to depict any—at least not that can be seen in the image.

You will be taken down a couple Cast Member only roads between the hotel and the theme park, dropping you off at a special backdoor entrance in the middle of Galaxy’s Edge.
Some have speculated that the shuttle may drop off and pick up guests of the hotel near the First Order Cargo shop, through a backstage gate directly across from the Blue Milk Stand. This has not yet been confirmed, but the infrastructure needed seems to be in place.

Pricing and opening date details for the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser have not yet been revealed, but Disney says this new immersive hotel experience is still set to open later this year at this time.
