New Details Revealed for WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure at Avengers Campus

Disney has offered us a sneak peak of Tom Holland reprising his role in an upcoming new attraction for Disneyland Resort and Disneyland Paris.
“WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure” will open at the new Avengers Campus area of Disney California Adventure in the future, as well as Walt Disney Studios Paris at some point later. The new 3D attraction will allow guests to fling their own webs for the very first time in a Disney theme park.

The story of this innovative new ride will have us test driving a new vehicle called the “WEB Slinger.” It will detect your own body movements and gestures allowing you to reach your hands out and sling webs from your wrists, just like Spider-Man.
Tom Holland is reprising his role as Peter Parker, who has created the Worldwide Engineering Brigade, or WEB for short. WEB specializes in developing new technologies to help equip and empower a new generation of Super Heroes.

On the ride, guests will venture out into a virtual recreation of Avengers Campus. The story has us web slinging Spider-Bots for practice, but don’t be fooled by their cuteness. These guys can become quite a handful once they start replicating.
In a new official video released by Disney, we not only get to see behind the scenes of Tom Holland filming for the ride, but we may also be getting our first look at specially designed 3D glasses created just for this attraction. These red and black glasses might be what we’ll be putting on, right before our adventure through Avengers Campus.
An opening date for Avengers Campus at Disneyland Resort has not yet been revealed, as the parks remain closed due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
