The long-standing attraction is set to reopen next month, with a new animatronic figure representing the 46th President of the United States.
As has been tradition for the nearly 50 years that the attraction has been running, the nation’s current president is being added to The Hall of Presidents show at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World.
According to Disney, Imagineers are putting the final touches on the new figure, which will represent President Joe Biden in the show, and it is set to reopen in August.
The audio-animatronic replica of the President is being paired with a delivery of the presidential oath of office, which was recorded at the White House by President Biden himself just for the attraction.
During the show, you may notice the table next to President Biden is filled with some special items, each with their own significance to the President—including peach blossoms to represent his home state of Delaware and a pair of aviators sunglasses, as that has been his staple.
The Hall of Presidents opened with Magic Kingdom Park back in 1971, and will be celebrating 50 years of operation, along with the rest of the resort, beginning this October.
