Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will be a brand new and highly immersive “storytelling coaster” that will be indoors that replaced former the Universe of Energy at Epcot at Walt Disney World. This new roller coaster will be opening up in time for Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary opening up in 2021.

Vekoma the Dutch ride manufacturer will be help building this new attraction with Walt Disney Imagineering that will be featuring an innovative and ground breaking technology with the ride vehicles that will rotate 360 degrees and can even do a reverse launch. Recently details were shared last month at the D23 Expo 2019 with Disney Parks, Experiences and Products Chairman Bob Chapek for some the story details about the roller coaster-
“The adventure starts in the “Galaxarium,” a planetarium-like exhibition that explores the similarities and mysteries of the formation of Earth’s galaxy and Xandar. You will be invited to learn more about the treasures Xandar has to share – until the moment when the Guardians of the Galaxy arrive, and adventures across the cosmos ensue.”

This week Disney shared a closer look for what guests can expect for this galactic ride system.
