Disney officials have said that Disneyland is unable to organize its annual Candlelight Processional due to the uncertainty of when they can re-open.
According to Orange County Register, Disneyland could not “commit to the months long planning process for the Candlelight Processional”.
The resort has been waiting for months for the state of California to release official guidelines which will allow them to reopen to the public safely.
Each December, the Candlelight Processional includes seasonal songs and festive joy which spreads the holiday spirit.
Due the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, Disneyland will be unable to allow choir groups, cast members and members of the public to attend in a safe manner.
This news comes as Walt Disney World have placed EPCOT’s Candlelight Processional and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party on pause since these events attract very large crowds.
