With the news of COVID-19 cases increasing, Disney has released some big news regarding the reopening of Disneyland. In a statement made today, Disney has stated that the State of California will not issue theme park reopening guidelines until after July 4, and given the time it would take to recall cast members and get proper protocols set up, Disney is forced to delay their reopening of Disneyland.

Downtown Disney will still open on July 9 as scheduled with all protocols in place to keep guests safe.
