Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is officially reopening today at Walt Disney World, featuring newly renovated guest rooms that take inspiration from the Walt Disney Animation Studios film “Moana.”
To celebrate the resort’s reopening, as well as first-ever DOLE Whip Day, you can find a special version of the iconic Disney Parks treat at Pineapple Lanai for a limited time.
Available today through July 21st, you can order an exclusive “Tamatoa-Inspired Dipped Cone,” which is raspberry and orange Dole Whip swirl, in a white chocolate-dipped waffle cone coated with “shiny” gold sugar.
Another Disney fan favorite, Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto, is reopening today at the resort.
You can now once again explore this amazing tropical tiki bar filled with interesting artifacts and exotic treasures and experience the romance of the South Seas through unique food and drinks.
Additional work is still continuing at the resort, including a new arrival experience with a special entryway that will debut for the resort’s 50th anniversary.
