New scenes at the start and conclusion of the long-running water parade will commemorate the resort’s 50th anniversary.
The Electrical Water Pageant will be receiving an update as part of “The World’s Most Magical Celebration,” which kicks off October 1, 2021 and will last 18 months.
It will receive two new scenes featuring a version of the celebration anthem song, “The Magic is Calling,” bookending the full traditional show as it sails nightly.
Disney has released an official photograph of designers prepping one of the new water floats for the updated pageant.
The Electrical Water Pageant is a 15-minute water parade that travels around the Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake, passing by the shores of several on-site resorts.
The water pageant usually begins shortly after the nightly fireworks have ended at Magic Kingdom.
Watch the Pageant from viewing spots along the shore at these locations:
- Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
- Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa (including Narcoossee’s)
- Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
- Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground
- Disney’s Contemporary Resort
