The new space station themed eatery has received an official opening date, plus Imagineer Zach Riddley has shown off the space elevator.

The all-new Space 220 full service restaurant will officially open to all guests on September 20, 2021.

Connected to the Mission: SPACE pavilion at EPCOT in Walt Disney World, the futuristic dining establishment features massive windows that create the feeling of being in orbit above the Earth.

In an Instagram post, Imagineer Zach Riddley shared our first look at the viewport inside of the space elevator that “takes us” all the way up to the space station.

Riddley says in the post, “Get ready for and out-of-this-world experience at EPCOT, Space 220 is opening on September 20th! 🚀”

Operated by Patina Restaurant Group, the new restaurant is expected to offer international style cuisine, as well as “out of this world” cocktails.

Reservations for Space 220 are not yet available, and the company has not yet commented on when they will go up. You can see the official website for more details.
