Disney’s new live action adaptation of the 1998 adventure film gets a new release date and will premier exclusively on Disney+.
The company has announced today that Mulan will be released on Disney+ for a fee of $29.99 on September 4.
Last month, Disney delayed Mulan indefinitely due to the Coronavirus pandemic and pulled it from it’s theatrical calendar.
In an announcement by Disney executives, CEO Bob Chapek revealed that Disney “thought it was important to find alternative ways to bring [Mulan] in a timely manner”.
For countries where Disney+ is currently not available, Disney is releasing Mulan in theaters on the same date.
