Yesterday afternoon we ventured out to EPCOT at Walt Disney World Resort to grab a bite to eat and see what changes have been made around the park!
As we arrived, we first noticed the new Pylon structure at the entrance– which is currently being renovated. The structure is breathtaking! The light reflection around it truly looks incredible.
This pillar looks amazing. Every angle of this thing is so photogenic.
Taking a look at the current construction progress of Guardians Of The Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, not much has changed on the exterior other than a few new solar panels on the roof.
Looking just to the right of the Guardians show building, we can see progress continuing on the Play! Pavilion, which was formerly home to The Wonders Of Life.
In-between Mission Space and Test Track, construction is still happening on a new bathroom. This bathroom will help as the nearest bathroom to these attractions currently is at the EPCOT Experience.
While walking around, we noticed extremely low crowd levels. There was practically nobody in the park, with the highest wait time being just 35 minutes (Obviously it was ‘Frozen’ with that high of a wait time.)
We noticed a few pretty cool new pieces of merch while in the park, including our first sign of the quickly approaching Halloween Season!
We also were lucky enough to find these really awesome 2020 Halloween inspired Disney Pins! We saw Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Chip & Dale, Boba Fett, and Loki & Thor.
Heading out of the park, we took our last looks at the newly added structure. It honestly looks incredible, and makes us look forward to the newly renovated entrance even more!
That’s going to do it for today’s trip report! We hope you enjoyed seeing the changes around Epcot. Be sure to let us know–do you like the pillars more at night, or during the day?
