Guests can now create a virtual park ticket for their Apple Wallet that will allow them to use their mobile device to enter the parks and more.
Starting today guests at the Walt Disney World Resort can set up their own MagicMobile ticket for use with Apple Wallet. This new contactless option allows you to enter the theme parks using your mobile device like a MagicBand, and more.
You can still use your existing theme park ticket or MagicBand, but guests now have this additional option to use as well.
Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel can also use their mobile device as a hotel key to open their door.
To get started, open the My Disney Experience mobile app. Go to the More tab to reveal the Plans and Ticket options menu and tap on Disney MagicMobile Pass.
Select a style for your pass from the options offered, and then click on ADD TO APPLE WALLET. You can also create digital tickets for anyone on your account and add them to your Wallet.
Disney reminds you that you can use the new Disney MagicMobile service, a MagicBand or a card interchangeably for added flexibility.
If you have any trouble setting up your digital card, ensure you have the newest version of the My Disney Experience app installed on your device.
