Disney have announced that all four theme parks located within Walt Disney World will experience shortened hours beginning next month.

Disney CEO, Bob Chapek, revealed that the shortened hours will take place on September 8th.

  • Magic Kingdom: 9am – 6pm (previously closed at 7pm)
  • EPCOT: 11am – 7pm (previously closed at 9pm)
  • Disney’s Hollywood Studios: 10am – 7pm (previously closed at 8pm)
  • Disney’s Animal Kingdom: 9am – 5pm (previously 8am – 6pm)

During the third quarter earnings report, Chapek stated that demand for vacations at Walt Disney World had shrunk further than they had previously expected.

The shortened hours could help Disney to cut costs on employees and other labor expenses.
