Walt Disney World will begin to take photos of maskless guests with the Disney PhotoPass service beginning April 8.
The new policy for maskless guests will only apply to outdoor PhotoPass locations where guests can be physically distanced from each other.
Cast Members are still unable to handle guest phones in order to take photos on the device.
Disney’s PhotoPass photographers and Cast Members have been preventing guests from removing their masks for photographs since the parks reopened in 2020.
What is the Disney PhotoPass Service?
The DisneyPass Photo Service is a service that Disney provides at their resorts to help capture magical vacation memories in great photos.
Simply visit any Disney PhotoPass photographer and let them snap away. The photographer will link your photos to your Disney account with the touch of your MagicBand. If you don’t have a MagicBand, the photographer will provide you with a Disney PhotoPass Card containing the photos that you can link to your account.
The photographers are located around many Disney icons, at most Character Experience locations, select dining locations, and at both water parks from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
