This past weekend, we had the pleasure of visiting SeaWorld San Antonio. This was our first visit to the park in quite some time. We only had a few hours to spend in the park but we left with a feeling of Christmas joy. If you happen to have an upcoming holiday trip to the Lone Star State, SeaWorld San Antonio is a stop to consider!
This year, the holiday festivities are bigger than ever. SeaWorld San Antonio’s Christmas Celebration has the park dressed up in 9 million twinkling lights—the largest Christmas light display in Texas! A trip to the park will not disappoint as over 250 acres of the park are covered in sparkling Christmas lights.
The park is sectioned into 15 different lands, each with a different holiday twist. There are Christmas lights to be seen along the pathways of the park and a Christmas lights show to music, at the Tunnel of Lights. We also recommend checking out the Cozy Christmas Kitchen, where many different Holiday food offerings can be found.
Guests can meet and have dinner with Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and his friends. There is a real life reindeer to be seen, Merry Mariachis, many different Christmas Shows, a Sesame Street Christmas Parade, and the opportunity to meet the big fella himself, Santa Claus. While you are there, don’t forget to take in Shamu Christmas: Miracles.
SeaWorld San Antonio’s Christmas Celebration will run until January 5th, 2020. There is plenty of food to try, plenty to see, and plenty to do. Our only regret is that we didn’t get to stay in the park long enough to see all of the lights at night.
