Blue Man Group Will Not Reopen at Universal Orlando
After performing more than 6000 shows at their Universal CityWalk venue in Orlando, the Blue Man Group has announced it will not reopen.
Opening in 2007, the Blue Man Group has performed at their Universal CityWalk venue for 13 years before closing last year due to Covid-related precautions.
The show did not restart when the parks reopened a few months later. This week the Blue Man Group’s official social media accounts confirmed that the show will not be returning at their Orlando venue.

While this does mean the end of the Blue Man Group at Universal Orlando, the show does plan to reopen in Las Vegas, New York, Chicago and Boston later this year, with safety measures in place.
The location of the theater used for the show at Universal Orlando was formerly used as production space, most notably for Nickelodeon Studios productions.
There has not been an official announcement for what could replace the 1000-seat theater, but some have speculated online that the space could be added back to the Universal Studios Florida theme park, and removed from the CityWalk lineup.
Stay tuned to the site as more details emerge for a possible replacement to this fan-favorite show.
