The show has been confirmed to be closed permanently by the company, and will not be returning in November. A replacement has not been announced.
As of November 1, 2021, the day after Halloween Horror Nights 30 ends at Universal Studios Florida, Fear Factor Live will be officially closed for good.
The show did not return after the parks closed temporarily due to the pandemic, but Universal Orlando had never said the show would not be returning until now.
Originally opened in 2005, Fear Factor Live replaced The Wild Wild Wild West Stunt Show. It allowed park guests to participate in frightening activities, inspired by the NBC television series.
Currently the theater is being utilized for the Halloween Nightmare Fuel show during Halloween Horror Nights.
Universal has not yet announced any future plans for the theater after the event ends October 1st. Some out there believe rumors that there may be a planned expansion for The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
Stay tuned for more news on what this area could be used for in the future, and if any official details are revealed.
