Mario Cafe & Store Opens at Universal Studios Japan

Universal Studio Japan’s new addition, Mario Cafe & Store is now open after a media-only ceremony took place on Thursday.

The cafe offers cute decorations with Mario motifs like Piranha Plants, Warp Pipes, and Question Blocks.

Along with the Mario themed decor, there is are tasty food and drink options available on the new menu.

Items include a red Mario hat cream-filled pancake sandwich with strawberries and sodas themed around the Super Mario Bros characters.

The store area of the building is packed with exclusive merchandise items also theme around the characters. Everything is stocked from souvenir snacks, clothing and water bottles.

The Mario Cafe & Store was originally scheduled to open with the Super Nintendo World this summer, but due to the Coronavirus pandemic this has now been delayed until spring 2021.
