Universal Orlando Resort Hits Capacity for the Second Day in a Row

Labor Day weekend, known to be one of the busiest weekends for Orlando, has arrived.

This was quickly evident this morning as a little after 11am, all the Universal Parks reached capacity.

Crowds in CityWalk don’t appear to be too bad, but once in the park, we can see there is an extremely high amount of people there.

Most of the park entrances are being used, including one near the VIP Entrance for tours. This entrance is typically not in use on most days.

Many queues for rides are spilling out into the streets. Thankfully though, Universal Team Members have been ensuring that social distancing is being enforced along with masks being required to remain worn.

Team members are being proactive and making sure queue space is set up with social distancing efforts enforced for the comfort and safety of everyone.

Currently, tickets are not being sold for either of the parks if they are being used the same day. Guests with valid admission for today are still being admitted.

We expect the parks will most likely hit capacity again tomorrow, September 7, due to the long weekend.
