Universal Studios Japan has reopened nationally today for guests living in the 6 prefectures of the Kansai area.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Universal Studios placed restrictions on guests entering the park. These restrictions have now been lifted.

Universal began to open their Japanese park in June but only to people living in the local region.

From today, Studio Passes will be sold nationwide and guests from all 47 prefectures, including Tokyo will be able to enter the park.

Visitors are required to wear a face covering, undergo temperature checks to enter the resort and to adhere to social distancing guidelines.
