Universal Studios Orlando has announced that their Volcano Bay water park will close on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting September 8.
In a press release, Universal revealed that the reason for this decision was made “based on our operation needs and fall travel trends”.
Volcano Bay which opened in May 2017, was the nation’s third most-visited water park last year with over 1.8 million guests visiting according to a report by AECOM.
This move to reduce the days that Volcano Bay will be open to the public comes after Universal Studios announced that they would be temporarily closing several attractions at it’s theme parks.
