Theme Park Shark recently took a look at some of the exceptional entertainment and themed dining offerings that can be found aboard the Disney Treasure, the newest ship to join the Disney Cruise Line fleet of ships that sail worldwide to exciting destinations. But Broadway-styled shows and enchanting cinema experiences aren’t all the the Disney Treasure offers. With a variety of lounge experiences, the Disney Treasure offers something for all age groups, ranging from early childhood care to an adult-only lounge experience.

Let’s take a look!

Kid Clubs and family fun can be found in abundance upon the Disney Treasure, starting with the AquaMouse (image featured above), a family flume attraction that allows guests to travel 760 feet of winding tubes that overlook the upper decks. AquaMouse is more than a water slide – it’s an true Disney ride at sea, as guests follow Captain Mickey and Captain Minnie as they explore the ancient ruins of a mysterious temple in search of a legendary treasure; filled with mishaps and booby traps, the Curse of the Golden Egg on the AquaMouse is an attraction that the whole family can enjoy in true Disney spirit!

For families with young children, the Toy Story Splash Zone is also available, featuring enormous rubber bath toys and the Slide-a-Saurus Rex. This aqua-fantastic playground allows kids to climb, slide, splash, and explore in a safe family pool environment. For a break from all the fun, check out Wheezy’s Freezies for ice cold treats like frozen fruit smoothies.

Aside from the attractions that make this a true Disney trip, the Treasure also offers a variety of clubs that guests can spend the day enjoying. With seven different age-appropriate clubs and lounges, the possibilities are endless. Each club is tailored for its audience, whether that be young children, energetic kids, teens looking to chillax, or adults looking for some peace and quiet, the clubs on the Disney Treasure are varied and exciting experiences!

The its a small world nursery is tailored for children aged six months to three years, where young children can play games, make crafts, watch movies, nap, and more while being looked after by trained and qualified Disney counselors at this childcare center themed after the iconic Disney ride, engaging children in an abundance of colors, shapes, and cultures during their stay.

The Disney Oceaneer Club is a huge, interactive club for kids to explore and learn through play. Broken up into five different highly themed areas, the Oceaneers club combines traditional play with age-appropriate technology to immerse kids in a world of learning through games, interactive tech, and the guidance of Disney counselors.

Within the Oceaneer Club, guests can find places like the Star Wars Cargo Bay, where kids play the heroes in their own Star Wars adventure, taking on the role of creature handlers and managing the interstellar collection of alien creatures.

Also available within the Oceaneers Club is the Marvel Super Hero Academy, led by Spider-Man, Black Panther, and Ant-Man, where young super hero “recruits” train to save the world at the renowned Avengers facility.

Kids can explore Fairytale Hall, where art and creativity are limitless within Rapunzel’s Art Studio, and any story you can imagine comes to life within Belle’s Library.

But imagination and play aren’t the only cornerstones of learning that kids can explore at the Oceaneer Club – STEM is also offered here, with the Walt Disney Imagineering Lab, where kids can learn all about the legacy of Walt Disney Imagineering through immersive, hands-on experiments and activities that challenge their critical thinking skills and creativity.

Finally, set sail to adventure on the immersive playground featured on Mickey and Minnie Captain’s Deck. Inspired by the thematic elements of the Disney Cruise Line, this nautical playground features physical and sensory-styled activities and games for kids to engage in.

For more family-oriented fun, check out the Hero Zone – an action-packed physical challenges and competitions that test your strength, speed, and stamina. Based on the popular Pixar Animation Studios’ The Incredibles, this high-energy play zone features challenge hosts, epic hero music, and dazzling special effects as families team up to conquer the Incredibles-themed obstacle course.

Designed for kids ages 11-14, Edge is a tween club where kids can relax, socialize, play games, and make new friends all amid a vibrant atmosphere inspired by the fashionable urban lofts of New York City. Full of selfie opportunities like the faux-grass picnic area and “photo walls,” this is the perfect spot for young teens to hang out and enjoy good company.

The Hideaway and Vibe are both clubs designed for a slightly older crowd – where teens and young adults can relax and vibe with music, movies, and games, or have fun with their friends in activities like karaoke. Inspired by a Parisian artist’s loft, these youth clubs feature a charming retro electroswing twist.

The Sarabi Lounge is the final stop on the Disney Treasure club tour – a family-friendly lounge during the day, this spot offers musical performances, comedy acts, and a two-story LED screen. Spacious seating and a full-service bar, and the adjoining Sarabi Snacks make this an all-around great choice, but the transformation that this lounge sees during the evening hours makes it the perfect getaway for the adults. With adult-exclusive activities at night, this club offers the best of both worlds to families and adults looking for a more refined experience.

With that, we’ve covered all of the entertainment offerings that Disney has boasted aboard the Treasure; there truly is something for everyone aboard this ship, from its exquisite dining options to the clubs and lounges guests can experience during their stay aboard; there’s so much to do on a Disney Cruise ship, you might not even want to leave! With seven-night Caribbean cruises, though, you’ll have plenty of time to explore all the offerings on the Disney Treasure and maybe even have time to squeeze in an excursion or two!

Her favorite stories have always been about magic and far-off adventures, and growing up in Orlando, Florida allowed her to experience those adventures in real life. As an adult, she graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2023 with a degree in Literature while working in the Education Industry. Her inner child, however, still has a deep love for fairies, dragons, magic, and adventure.
