This summer at Disney is bigger than ever before, with the certified Cool Kid Summer finally upon us! There’s so much to do at Disney, and even more on the way, and Theme Park Shark was invited out to preview some of the amazing new things coming to Walt Disney World this year in 2025 – and of course, we just had to share our faves, like the upcoming Starlight Parade!
This new Parade is a nighttime spectacular that lights up the streets of the Magic Kingdom with countless twinkling lights, turning Main Street, U.S.A. into a twilit wonderland complete with all of your favorite Disney Characters helping illuminate the night! Debuting on July 20th, the Starlight Parade is so much more than just a night time show, and Disney has been rolling out the red carpet with special commemorative merchandise and some new treats for guests to enjoy as they watch the night come to life this July!
Help Light up the Night with these Treats and Gifts!
First on the tour is this Starlight Popcorn, a brand new treat debuting alongside the new parade that will help guests celebrate this enchanting new show in the sweetest way!
“Themed to celebrate the debut of “Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away,” this new offering will be available exclusively at the Main Street Confectionery in Magic Kingdom Park starting the first night of the new parade. Guests can enjoy a Star-Kissed mix of Bubble Gum and Blue Raspberry Candy Popcorn, M&M’S Milk Chocolate Candies, Mini-Marshmallows, and White Chocolatey Drizzle.”
But this sweet treat isn’t the only Starlit gift that Disney is giving us to celebrate this beautiful new parade!
Actually, there’s a ton of new merch!
From T-shirts emblazoned with the Disney Starlight logo and Mickey Mouse in his newest Grand Marshal getup, to pins, ears, light wands, and more, the Disney Starlight merch all has an ethereal quality to it, cast in dark blues with the show’s trademark starlight speckled across each piece.
A brand new set of Mickey ears will also be debuting for this new parade; printed with a crystal clear artistic rendition of Mickey and Tinkerbell illuminating the night sky, this lineless art style perfectly captures the whimsy of the new parade, offering a refined but still fun accessory for guests to show off their love for Disney Starlight and commemorate the opening of the parade this year.
