Earlier this month, Theme Park Shark covered the Savannah Bananas planned trip to Disneyland Resort – and the time has finally come! This week, the famous team had their day at the Happiest Place on Earth, enjoying the California weather and soaking in all the magic that Disneyland has to offer.
In addition to getting to enjoy their one-day experience at Disneyland, the Savannah Bananas also got to hold an exclusive cavalcade along the parade route within the park. At the end of the parade, the team performed a dance number to “Hey Baby” in front of the iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle. The Savannah Bananas also got to show off their incredible skills with Mickey and Friends during their Trick Shots session, where they performed some absolutely bananas stunts with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Donald.
Savannah Banana Treats Enjoyed By All!
If it wasn’t cool enough having the Savannah Bananas at Disneyland Park, or seeing them perform a dance number to “Hey Baby,” guests were in for a real treat – literally! With so many banana-themed treats to enjoy to help commemorate this fantastic day of fun at Disneyland Resort, it’s a wonder guests didn’t go absolutely bananas!

From Brown Butter Banana Upside-Down Cake (top left) to the Oswald Sundae (bottom right), these banana treats are just too a-peeling to pass up! Even the classic banana split is up for grabs with this bananas event!
The Banana Split (top right) has everything you’d expect and then some – vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry ice creams topped with strawberries, pineapple, hot fudge, fresh bananas (because of course it is!), chopped nuts, whipped cream, and the classic cherry on top. It’s not complete without one!
In addition to helping celebrate all things Banana with the Savannah Bananas, this sundae is also part of the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration, where tons of foods from Disneyland’s history (and some new foods!) are taking center stage as part of this year-long event extending into summer of 2026.

And even more banana fun is available, with Banana Pudding (top left), Banoffee tarts (top right), Banana Sno-Balls (bottom left), and Banana Dip (bottom right), these treats are unbeatable. The Banana Pudding, which has bananas, whipped cream, crushed vanilla wafer cookies, dulce de leche, and toffe, is found at the Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree, and is a must-have treat for anyone looking for a little sweetness in their day!
And the Banoffee Tart is a unique sweet all its own! A graham tart shell filled with a layer of dulce de leche, banana diplomat cream (a type of pastry cream sometimes thickened with gelatine for an extra thick and creamy filling!) , and fresh bananas topped with vanilla bean chantilly and toffee bits, this tart is an extra decadent take on the classic fruit tart, and can be found at the Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe! According to Jackson Olson, one of the players who visited Disneyland, this treat tasted just like a Banana Cream Pie, and it looks delicious!
It’s Savannah Banana Time!
(Just in case you missed the banana-flavored shenanigans from the disneyeats and disneyparks instagram accounts!)
When not performing or taking trick shots with Mickey, the Bananas got to roam Disneyland and experience some of their favorite rides – and some new ones! Members of the team were eager to ride classics like Big Thunder Mountain, and to experience the brand-new Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, which opened at Disneyland Resort last last year.
Featuring 48 audio-animatronic figured throughout the ride and a thrilling 52-foot drop at a 45-degree angle, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is just as loved by guests as its predecessor, Splash Mountain.
It was an absolutely electric ride and I will definitely go again!
