Shanghai Disneyland will host a limited-time Disney × F1 “Fuel the Magic” experience from March 10-12, 2026. The three-day event arrives just ahead of the Shanghai Grand Prix, giving fans a chance to experience the collaboration between Disney and Formula 1 before race weekend begins.
The experience brings together racing culture and Disney magic in what Shanghai Disney Resort describes as “exclusive content, products, and experiences in all-new interactive ways.” Mickey and Friends will be part of the activation, blending entertainment and fashion in what the resort calls a “fan-first approach” to celebrating the Grand Prix.

The Shanghai Disneyland activation is one component of Disney and Formula 1’s expanded “Fuel the Magic” partnership for the 2026 season. The collaboration spans the full F1 race calendar and includes merchandise, apparel collaborations with brands like Uniqlo and Gentle Monster, a WEBTOON comic series, and pop-up experiences in multiple cities including Seoul and Shanghai.
Gentle Monster’s 2026 Circuit Collection features eight F1-inspired eyewear styles, including three designs with Mickey and Friends motifs. The Seoul and Shanghai pop-ups will showcase a monumental Mickey Mouse sculpture posed beside a Formula 1 car.
The partnership celebrates racing culture while enabling fans worldwide to engage with the Grand Prix through Disney’s lens. This marks one of the first times a Disney park has hosted a dedicated F1 activation, making the March 10-12 experience at Shanghai Disneyland a notable milestone for both brands.
