The timing is no accident. Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 premieres on Disney+ on March 24, 2026, less than two weeks away.

The second season brings back Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock and Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk, who is operating as Mayor of New York. The season also adds Krysten Ritter returning as Jessica Jones.
Season 1 was one of the better-reviewed MCU Disney+ entries. Season 2 expands the street-level MCU story with the Daredevil and Jessica Jones characters sharing the screen for the first time in this era of Marvel storytelling on Disney+.

What Else Is on Disney+ Right Now
Marvel’s “group project” post is a reference to the broader MCU slate currently streaming. Wonder Man, starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, launched January 27, 2026. The MCU Disney+ library has grown substantially, with the street-level corner of the universe expanding in particular through Born Again and related projects.
The framing of MCU shows as a “group project” plays on the interconnected nature of Marvel storytelling. Characters who appeared in one show turn up in another, and Season 2 of Born Again is built around exactly that dynamic.
What to Watch Before March 24
