Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge opens July 1, 2027 at Walt Disney World. Disney Parks Blog posted the date today in its Letters from Lakeshore series, along with an exclusive first look inside the guest rooms before reservations open in early October.
The waterfront resort will sit on Bay Lake, a boat ride from Magic Kingdom, and will have 967 rooms. The mix runs from Encanto duo studios to Bambi villas and one-of-a-kind waterfront Lake Houses.
Waterfront Lake Houses
New and exclusive to Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge, one- and two-bedroom Lake Houses sit along Bay Lake. Disney says they will have A-frame architecture, floor-to-ceiling windows, a private porch, a full kitchen, and a washer and dryer. The one-bedroom Lake House sleeps up to five guests. The two-bedroom sleeps up to eight.
Interior artwork will celebrate Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Brother Bear. The primary bedroom will have a Northern Lights-inspired lighting feature.

Studios and villas
Duo studios are a retreat for two inspired by Encanto.

Deluxe studios bring Bambi into the room with warm natural materials and original concept artwork, and sleep up to four guests.

One- and two-bedroom villas are also rooted in Bambi. They sleep up to five and nine guests, with full kitchens, washers and dryers, private patios, and living and dining areas.
Three-bedroom grand villas celebrate Fantasia. Each sleeps up to 12 guests and includes multiple bathrooms, a full kitchen, a private patio with Bay Lake views, and gathering spaces.
Resort rooms, The Artist’s Nest, and Hidden Willow
Resort studios sleep up to four guests. Resort studio king rooms sleep up to two. Both draw from Pocahontas, with earthy colors and artistic touches from the archives.

Select club level resort rooms will have access to The Artist’s Nest, a concierge lounge above the treetops with complimentary refreshments and Magic Kingdom fireworks views.

The Hidden Willow Presidential Suite sleeps up to six guests, with two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a full kitchen, a washer and dryer, Bay Lake views by day, Magic Kingdom fireworks at night, and access to The Artist’s Nest.
