From August 16th – September 30th, restaurants all across Orlando will be participating in one of the best annual dining deals that Central Florida has ever seen.
Anyone who has ever stepped foot in Orlando knows that its a rich cultural hub of restaurants varying in styles and flavors from around the world. With a seemingly endless array of options to choose from and only so much time and money to spend exploring the dining options around Orlando and the rich, unique options offered by some of Orlando’s premier theme parks, budgeting for these delectable experiences can be outright impossible for most.
Magical Dining, presented by Orlando Health, offers a unique and exciting way of getting the most out of Central Florida living, by partnering with over 150 restaurants over six weeks to bring guests brand-new dining experiences that will allow them to explore old flames and new favorites alike.
But aside from offering the residents of Central Florida an excuse to get out and try that exciting new restaurant they’ve had their eye on, Magical Dining is a charitable event. This year’s featured charity is The Mustard Seed of Central Florida, but Magical Dining also benefits other local charities like Hope Along The Way and the WASH Foundation.
The Mustard Seed of Central Florida is a charity that helps families impacted by disaster or personal tragedy by helping donate personal items such as clothes, furnishings, household items, or toys to those who have found their living circumstances impacted by tragedy. The Mustard Seed is the only furniture and clothing bank in the region, and serves over 3,000 individuals annually.
For every 40 dollar Magical Dining meal purchased at one of the participating locations, $1 is donated towards the featured charity of the year, and $2 for every 60 dollar Magical Dining meal purchased.
With over 150 restaurants participating in this year’s Magical Dining event, it should be easy to find a restaurant you’re interested in trying out! Guests choosing a Magical Dining option will receive a three course, prixe-fixe meal at these participating locations. Depending on the location, the cost of a Magical Dining experience will be either 40 or 60 dollars, and those with a keen eye (or who know how to use the location filter featured on the Magical Dining’s web page for participating locations) will be able to spot some Theme Park restaurants thrown into the mix!
Guests will find restaurants like the coveted Mama Della’s at the Loew’s Portofino Bay hotel, or the high-end STK at Disney Springs. For those looking for more themed dining experiences, The Edison Bar at Disney Springs is another excellent option on this year’s Magical Dining list! These exceptional on-property restaurants are offering a taste of their menus for guests who are participating in the Magical Dining Experience, and for three courses to cost no more than 60 dollars per location, the value is undeniable.
Details on each individual restaurant participating in the 2024 charity event, as well as the prixe-fixe menu offered from each, can be found on the Magical Dining website, [here], as well as information on other Magical experiences offered through the Orlando Health charity event.
