Wait, what?
You read it right! Warped Tour – the famous alternative music festival that every teenager in their “it’s not a phase, mom” phase has dreamed about going to – is back this year to celebrate its 30th Anniversary.
Tickets actually went on sale in October (the same day that UOAPs were eligible to purchase tickets to Epic Universe, so imagine the chaos in our household that day), but were sold without any indication of who might be playing at the iconic festival; with only three locations this year – as opposed to the dozens this festival has toured during past iterations – Orlando, Florida was chosen as one of the lucky few, and the event will be held at Camping World Stadium during November 15th & 16th of 2025.
Of course, this has left many fans of the event, old and new, to speculate on who will be playing this highly anticipated reunion event, with some fans even making their own announcement posters packed with all of their dream bands. But as of yet, no official announcement has been made about the lineup for this tour.
As we rolled into the new year, however, Warped Tour has updated their official page to include The Countdown – a digital clock ticking down to what was announced to be their first official announcement (stay with me, here!) regarding the artists who will be featured during this festival.
With the first set of bands scheduled to be announced just later this month on January 27th, fans have been eagerly awaiting the official drop to see if their favorite artists will be participating in the tour; while watching the clock won’t, realistically, make the day come any faster, it’s a tempting pastime.
With Orlando being the only one of the three locations not yet sold out (as of the time of writing), there’s still time to get your tickets for this event! Fans can choose from General Admission or VIP Tickets; with General Admission, guests will be granted access to the venue on both days of the event, and tickets are currently prices at 229.98 (199.99 ticket + 29.99 fees) before tax; for the VIP package, which includes “dedicated VIP viewing areas, temperature controlled restrooms, expedited festival entry & more!“, guests can expect to be set back 449.98 ($389.99 ticket + $59.99 fees) before tax.
But is it really being set back if you’re getting the concert of a lifetime in exchange?
It’s unclear via the ticketing site just how many of each ticket tier remains up for grabs, but considering the other two concerts (in Washington, DC and Long Beach, California) are both sold out, waiting until the line up is announced – or worse, to get closer to the event date – might just mean you miss the chance to buy. If you, like me, have always had Warped Tour on your bucket list, grab your tickets as soon as you can.
See you at the show!
