Universal’s ‘spooky week’ continues with the announcement of their fourth original haunted house and seventh official announcement for this year’s event, giving fans plenty of scares to look forward to as they venture deep into the world of the undead. HHN34’s newest house announcement, Grave of Flesh, walks guests through the underworld for a taste of the bitter afterlife.
“Welcome to your funeral, where things are about to go from bad to worse. You’ll enter your grave and then the underworld, where flesh-eaters who feed on the dead will hunt you for all eternity.”
This announcement is the newest in a long, fast-paced string of announcements featuring original-concept haunted houses like Dolls: Let’s Play Dead, El Artista: A Spanish Haunting, and Hatchet & Chains: Demon Bounty Hunters. While it is not yet clear what other house offerings and concepts we will see at Halloween Horror Nights, there are still many houses remaining to be revealed to the public with an estimated four remaining house announcements, five scarezones, food, and at least one show still waiting in the wings.
Tickets are on sale now for Halloween Horror Nights in Orlando, and while the East coast is still waiting to see the release of multi-night tickets, our West coast cousins can now purchase all ticketing options for Universal Studios Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights event.
Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort have both announced shared IP houses, but given that the creative teams behind HHN differ from coast to coast, it’s not yet clear what original-concept houses will be featured at Halloween Horror Nights in Hollywood, as no original-concept houses announcements have been made at this point in time.
However, with only a few weeks until the start of the event, fans on the West coast should anticipate announcements being released soon – there’s still a lot to cover at Universal Studios Hollywood, and Theme Park Shark will bring you all the news on house announcements, foods, and ticketing options as the West coast park makes their announcements in the coming weeks.
Check back soon, as we will continue to report on all the details released on this year’s Halloween Horror Nights event.
