Disney has officially announced that Bluey and Bingo are coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom this summer, marking the first time the beloved blue heeler pups will appear at a Disney theme park anywhere in the world.
To prepare for the new experience, Wildlife Express Train and Affection Section will temporarily close on February 23. The closures are necessary to transform Conservation Station into Bluey’s new home at Walt Disney World.
What to Expect at the Bluey Experience
Beginning Summer 2026, guests visiting Conservation Station will be able to:
- Play and dance with Bluey and Bingo in interactive experiences
- Meet the characters for photo opportunities
- Experience games inspired by the hit Disney+ show
The announcement comes after Bluey’s wildly successful debut on Disney Cruise Line earlier this year, where the characters have been meeting guests aboard the Disney Wonder on Australia and New Zealand sailings.
A Historic First for Disney Parks
This marks a significant milestone for both Disney and the Bluey franchise. Bluey is the first non-Disney-owned children’s show to receive a dedicated experience at Disney theme parks, highlighting the property’s massive popularity with families worldwide.
The show, which airs on Disney+ and Disney Junior, has become a cultural phenomenon with both children and adults, known for its heartfelt storytelling and authentic portrayal of family life.
More Animal Kingdom News
This announcement comes during a time of significant change at Animal Kingdom. The park recently said goodbye to DINOSAUR, which closed permanently after 28 years to make way for the upcoming Tropical Americas expansion.
Meanwhile, Harambe Market has soft-opened with new menu items, giving guests more dining options in the Africa section of the park.
