If you’ve ever wished you could get up close to the costumes, props, and set pieces from your favorite Disney Broadway shows, EPCOT’s International Festival of the Arts has a spot you won’t want to miss.
The Disney Parks Blog spotlighted Once Upon A Stage: The Magic of Disney on Broadway, a museum-style exhibit currently running inside CommuniCore Hall at EPCOT as part of the 2026 Festival of the Arts. The exhibit features pieces from some of Disney’s most beloved Broadway productions, and there’s a new addition this year.
What’s Inside the Exhibit
The exhibit showcases costumes, props, and set pieces from Disney on Broadway productions including Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, Mary Poppins, Aladdin, Newsies, Frozen, and Hercules.
Highlights include Aladdin’s sparkling beads, Swarovski crystals, and vibrant textured fabrics, The Lion King headpieces, Genie’s lamp (also a photo op), and the Enchanted Rose from Beauty and the Beast. Guests can also see the Beauty and the Beast costumes from the current North American touring production, designed by Tony Award-winning costume designer Ann Hould-Ward.
New this year: a magnificent Pride Rock from The Lion King. Also on display are the Sven and Olaf puppets from Frozen, created by Michael Curry, which showcase the design and mechanics of the characters up close.
A Backstage Look
The exhibit goes beyond what audiences see onstage. It also includes backstage elements: a hair and makeup station covered with wigs and cosmetic products, a stage manager’s calling desk, and a ghost light — a traditional Broadway safety measure. Miniature set models and full-scale pieces are both represented throughout.
Disney on Broadway Concert Series
Each evening at the America Gardens Theatre in the American Adventure pavilion, the Disney on Broadway Concert Series brings original Broadway cast members to the EPCOT stage. This year’s lineup includes performers from Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, TARZAN, Beauty and the Beast, and Mary Poppins.
Guests can secure guaranteed priority seating through a dining package. There are 14 different table-service dining experiences at EPCOT eateries that include a dining package option for the concert series.
More to Do at Festival of the Arts
Beyond the exhibit and concert series, the Festival of the Arts includes Figment’s Brush with the Masters Scavenger Hunt, The Expression Section: A Paint by Number Mural, artist displays throughout the park, and exclusive merchandise.
Just outside CommuniCore Hall, guests can snap a photo with a larger-than-life Genie lamp at the Aladdin display, or grab a chocolate Enchanted Rose dessert from the neighboring Opening Bites food studio.
The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts is currently underway. The EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival follows, starting March 4. For trip planning, see our guide to the best time to visit Walt Disney World in 2026.
