Disney has announced the 2026 class of Disney Legends, and it’s a stacked group. The ceremony takes place Sunday, August 16, 2026 at 1:30 PM PT at Honda Center in Anaheim — the closing day of D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, which runs August 14–16, 2026.
Ryan Seacrest is hosting.
The 2026 honorees are: Bob Iger, Susan Egan, Dwayne Johnson, Anne Hathaway, Alan Tudyk, the Jonas Brothers, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Eric Goldberg, Jerry Bruckheimer, Chris Berman, and Kim Irvine. That brings the all-time Disney Legends total to 329 — a program that launched in 1987 with Fred MacMurray as its first inductee.
Who’s Being Honored
The class spans film, music, television, and theme parks. Bob Iger, who led the company from 2005 through 2020 and then returned from 2022 through 2026, joins the ranks. Kim Irvine’s inclusion is significant for theme park fans — she served as chief creative officer for Disneyland Resort and shaped the look of the park for decades.
Susan Egan voiced Belle in the original Broadway production of Beauty and the Beast. Alan Tudyk has voiced characters across a remarkable run of Disney animated films. Lin-Manuel Miranda contributed music to Moana and Encanto. Dwayne Johnson starred in Moana 2. Anne Hathaway brought the Wicked Queen to life in Snow White. Jerry Bruckheimer produced the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. Eric Goldberg is an animator behind characters including Genie in Aladdin. Chris Berman is a longtime ESPN fixture — Disney owns ESPN. The Jonas Brothers have performed across Disney platforms for years.
Watch It on Disney+
The ceremony will be available on Disney+. Current Disney CEO Josh D’Amaro will preside over the event alongside the D23 festivities happening across all three days at the Honda Center.
Tickets for D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event are separate from the ceremony itself.
