The iconic upside-down convertible outside Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is getting a fresh new look ahead of the attraction’s Muppets retheme. New photos show the car sporting a wild psychedelic paint job featuring swirling graphics, stars, and musical notes, giving fans a preview of the Electric Mayhem’s takeover.

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets is set to open this summer at Hollywood Studios, replacing the original Aerosmith version that closed on March 2, 2026. The retheme will feature Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem band taking guests on a high-speed ride through a series of musical scenes.

The exterior updates are part of a broader transformation of the attraction’s facade and queue area. Disney has been progressively updating the outside of the building over the past several months as the summer opening approaches.
