Antojitos Authentic Mexican Food at Universal Orlando Resort’s CityWalk will serve a special Cinco de Mayo menu on May 5, 2026, from 12 p.m. to close, with live entertainment starting at 4 p.m. and a themed Margarita doughnut available nearby at Voodoo Doughnut.
If you are planning a CityWalk stop that day, this is a one-day food event with a set window, not a seasonal menu that hangs around for weeks. Lunch, dinner, and evening entertainment will all have slightly different draws.
The menu
Universal says Antojitos will offer six Cinco de Mayo specialties for the one-day event. The lineup includes Street Elote, tacos with al pastor, chicken tinga, or nopales, a baked potato, Guacamole & Chips, Mexicali Popsicles, and three aguas frescas flavors: Jamaica, Horchata, and Lime Cucumber.

The menu reads like a mix of snackable items and full meal picks, which makes Antojitos feel more like a real lunch or dinner stop than a quick festival booth. The taco options, baked potato, and aguas frescas give guests enough range to build a full meal instead of just grabbing one snack and moving on.
The timing
According to Discover Universal, the specialty dishes are only available on Cinco de Mayo itself, from 12 p.m. until close. That gives guests a lunch option, but it also means the event will likely feel busiest once the entertainment starts later in the afternoon and evening.
If Antojitos is your priority, the simplest move is to decide early whether you want the quieter lunch window or the later atmosphere. Guests heading to Universal Orlando for the parks can also treat this as a post-park dinner stop instead of trying to squeeze it into the middle of the day.
Entertainment
Starting at 4 p.m., Antojitos will add indoor and outdoor live entertainment, including dancers, stilt walkers, and a DJ. That changes the event from a limited-time menu into a full CityWalk celebration, especially for guests who want more than just a meal.

Universal also says Voodoo Doughnut will join the day with a specialty Margarita doughnut filled with citrus jelly and topped with tequila-flavored icing, Miguelito spice, and a tangerine slice. It is not inside Antojitos, but it gives guests another themed stop if they want to turn the day into a broader CityWalk food crawl.
What to plan for
This looks like a better fit for guests who want a date-specific CityWalk plan than for anyone expecting a long seasonal food festival. If you want the shortest wait and the best shot at seeing the full menu in a calmer window, lunch may be the safer play. If you want the energy, music, and performers, later in the day is the better bet.
