Since the attraction opened in 2021, fans worldwide have been eager to immerse themselves in the high-speed, high-tech world that Disney has created with the TRON Lightcycle Run in the Tomorrowland section of Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom park. This high-speed dark ride – a thrilling addition to the classic land famous for its forward-thinking technology and retrofuturism – is a fast-paced dive into the computerized world of TRON.
“Leave the real world behind and join Team Blue in a quest across the Grid—the dark, computerized world with no horizons from TRON. Here, there’s no limit to the excitement.”
And while fans take on this digitized challenge coaster, none may be so notable as Jared Leto, who visited the Disney Parks in late August to conquer this incredible attraction.
Leto, who plays the titular character in the upcoming TRON: Ares, posted to his social media on August 23rd, 2024, a clip of his experience on TRON Lightcycle Run, exclaiming “I feel like I’m home!” as he and a friend behind the camera approach the attraction.
