The Heroes Ticket, designed exclusively for first responders involved in the Los Angeles Fire Relief efforts, invites those who have put their lives on the line to help protect others to spend some time at the “Happiest Place of Earth” during a time where a little happiness with loved ones can go a long way.
“We are inspired by the endless dedication and contributions of the heroes who battled the fires that took place in the LA area, and our gratitude for their service is immeasurable,” Ken Potrock, Disneyland Resort President, said. “We hope these heroes can enjoy a memorable day with a loved one at our parks, because they certainly deserve it.”
In addition to the donation drives hosted by Disney and its subsidiaries, the comfort kits the company put together for countless LA children, the wardrobe warehouse that Disney opened to families in need of clothing after the fires, and the fifteen million dollars that Disney has pledged to the Los Angeles community, among other community relief efforts, the Heroes Ticket aims to provide some much needed levity among California Fire Fighters, the LAPD, and their families who also must brave the perils of their loved one’s jobs during such a tumultuous time.
Available to all California fire fighters, Los Angeles-based law enforcement, and emergency medical technicians who helped combat the most recent string of deadly wildfires that plagued Southern California, as well as for individuals from unrelated departments that provided mutual aid, these tickets will be valid from May 5th – August 7th, Mondays through Thursdays, giving eligible first responders and one guest (included in the Heroes ticket) three months and plenty of flexibility to plan their Disney days! Theme park reservations are still required for these tickets.
While Theme Park Shark is happy to report on Disney’s announcement of the Heroes Ticket program that will be offered at Disneyland California, further information is planned to be distributed directly through the qualifying fire, police, and sheriff’s departments this April.
Those looking for ways to support the Los Angeles fire relief program hand-in-hand with the Walt Disney Corporation can also find new Disney LA Strong t-shirts available on the Disney Store website, [here]. For each t-shirt sold in the United States through December 31st, Disney will donate 25.00 to the American Red Cross to help those affected by the 2025 California wildfires.
