The Pokémon Company just revealed the Pokémon Game Music Collection: Game Boy Jukebox, a miniature Game Boy that plays all 45 tracks from the original Pokémon Red and Pokémon Blue video games.

The device was announced during today’s Pokémon Presents livestream as part of the franchise’s 30th anniversary celebration. It’s shaped like a classic Nintendo Game Boy and comes with 45 individual mini cartridges, each loaded with a single track from the original games’ soundtrack.

Each cartridge features unique artwork that displays on the device’s screen when inserted, matching the in-game location or moment tied to that particular song. Pop in the Cycling Road cartridge and you’ll hear the Cycling Road theme. Insert the title screen cartridge and the iconic opening music plays.

The collection includes music from both Pokémon Red and Pokémon Blue, covering everything from battle themes and route music to town themes and sound effects that defined the Game Boy era of Pokémon.

Pricing and Availability

The Pokémon Game Music Collection: Game Boy Jukebox is priced at $69.99 and is available now through the Pokémon Center website. The device does not include a headphone jack, so all audio plays through the built-in speaker.

Pokémon’s presence in the theme park world has grown significantly in recent years, with Super Nintendo World now a major draw at both Universal Studios Japan and Epic Universe in Orlando. For fans who grew up with these games and now experience Nintendo’s worlds in person, this is a collectible that bridges both worlds.

The Pokémon Presents stream also revealed Pokémon Winds and Waves, the first mainline Pokémon games developed exclusively for the Nintendo Switch 2, set for release in 2027.
