The Disney Adventure has arrived in Tokyo, marking another milestone on its nearly two-month voyage from Germany to Singapore ahead of its maiden voyage on March 10, 2026.
According to the Disney Parks Blog, the ship was welcomed with a special drum ceremony at the pier in Tokyo. The arrival marks the end of a two-week journey across the Pacific Ocean, including a crossing of the International Date Line.
As we previously reported, Robert Downey Jr. was recently named as the ship’s Godparent, with the Academy Award-winning actor set to christen the vessel in Singapore.
The Disney Adventure is the largest ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet at 208,000 gross tons. Throughout its journey, crew members have been ensuring every detail onboard is ready for guests, with finishing touches and final rehearsals underway.
The ship has already completed several major milestones, including its passage through the Panama Canal as the largest passenger vessel to make that transit, and a stop in Los Angeles on February 9. Tokyo is the final major port before Singapore.
Onboard highlights include Marvel Landing’s Groot Galaxy Spin, Disney Cruise Line’s first-ever coaster Ironcycle Test Run, and “The Lion King: Celebration in the Sky” fireworks show featuring narration by Shah Rukh Khan.
The Disney Adventure will begin welcoming guests in Singapore on March 10, 2026, with three- and four-night voyages.
