Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort are bringing limited-time experiences to Super Nintendo World in celebration of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. The event runs from March 10 through April 13, 2026.
The announcement comes directly from Universal, timed to launch on MAR10 Day (March 10) ahead of the film’s premiere on April 1.
Yoshi Meet and Greet
Yoshi will appear for a limited-time meet and greet at both Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Epic Universe in Orlando. This is a new character experience for the land.
Food and Merchandise
Both parks will offer movie-inspired food and drinks at select dining locations inside Super Nintendo World, including:
- Rosalina Cupcake – a blue velvet cupcake filled with blueberry cheesecake, topped with lemon buttercream, a chocolate crown, and a star
- Galaxy Popcorn – multicolored berry-flavored popcorn with edible glitter (available later in the event)
New merchandise includes interactive Luma shoulder pals themed to the film. The shoulder pals come in blue and yellow, feature light and sound effects, and communicate with each other when placed close together.
CityWalk Photo Opportunity
Universal CityWalk at both the Orlando and Hollywood locations will feature a themed photo opportunity inspired by The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. The setup is described as a galactic tunnel experience based on scenes from the film.
The Super Mario Galaxy Movie will also screen at Universal Cinema at CityWalk Hollywood and Universal Cinemark at CityWalk Orlando starting April 1.
