Disney Parks fans who are also comic readers now have easy access to the Disney Kingdoms series on Marvel Unlimited, D23 has announced.
Marvel Unlimited, which gives subscribers access to over 30,000 digital comics, is now home to the complete Disney Kingdoms collection. The series ran from 2014 through 2017 and spans six limited series, each inspired by a beloved Disney Parks attraction or Disney legend.
What Is Disney Kingdoms?
Disney Kingdoms is a line of comics published by Marvel that brought Disney theme park attractions to life in illustrated form. Here is a breakdown of all six series:
- Seekers of the Weird #1-5 – Based on Rolly Crump’s 1965 concept for the Museum of the Weird, a Walt Disney-era idea that never made it into a park. Teens Maxwell and Melody race through a fantastical museum to save their family.
- Figment #1-5 – The origin story of Dreamfinder and Figment, the beloved characters from EPCOT’s Journey Into Imagination. Set in a steampunk fantasy world.
- Figment 2 #1-5 – A sequel that finds Figment and Dreamfinder transported 100 years into the future.
- Big Thunder Mountain Railroad #1-5 – The untold saga behind how Barnabas T. Bullion’s gold mine became the haunted legend of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.
- The Haunted Mansion #1-5 – A story featuring the 999 ghosts of the Haunted Mansion and their search for a 1000th ghost.
- Enchanted Tiki Room #1-5 – An adventure set in the world of the iconic Enchanted Tiki Room, featuring talking birds, plants, and ancient Tiki gods.
