Disney announced a wave of new details on March 26, 2026, including the full roster of Disney Legends honorees, a tiered ticket sale schedule beginning March 31, three days of marquee showcases at the Honda Center, the biggest show floor ever at the Anaheim Convention Center, and a week of city-wide celebrations leading up to the main event.

When Is D23 2026?
D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event presented by Visa takes place August 14, 15, and 16, 2026, at the Anaheim Convention Center and Honda Center in Anaheim, California. The event is preceded by a full week of city-wide celebrations beginning Saturday, August 8, 2026, with D23 Day at Disneyland Resort on Thursday, August 13, officially kicking off the main weekend.
D23 2026 Ticket Prices and Sale Dates
D23 2026 tickets range from $49 for an Afternoon Only pass to $2,599 for the top-tier Ultimate Preferred Fan Pass, with ticket sales beginning Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at 10 a.m. PT for D23 Gold Charter Members. All D23 Gold Members may purchase tickets, and each member can buy up to six tickets total (one for themselves plus five guests). Guests do not need to be D23 Gold Members to attend.
Ticket access rolls out in three tiers:
- March 31, 10 a.m. PT: D23 Gold Charter Members (exclusive 24-hour window)
- April 2, 10 a.m. PT: D23 Gold Members on Essential, Choice, and Complete plans

Each ticket is subject to an $11.25 service fee per ticket and a $16 delivery fee per transaction. The new Afternoon Only pass grants entry to the Anaheim Convention Center starting at 4 p.m. on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with extended show floor hours running until 8 p.m. each night. Members who are unable to purchase tickets may join a limited-time waitlist after ticket sales close.

D23 2026 Honda Center Showcases
D23 2026 features one marquee presentation at the Honda Center each day, featuring stars, storytellers, and what Disney describes as “unforgettable surprises.” The three showcases are:
- Friday, August 14: Disney Entertainment Showcase
- Saturday, August 15: Disney Experiences Showcase
- Sunday, August 16: Disney Legends Award Ceremony (1:30 p.m. PT, also streaming on Disney+)
The Disney Entertainment Showcase typically covers upcoming films, series, and streaming content across Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and more. The Disney Experiences Showcase focuses on theme parks, cruise lines, and resort developments. Both showcases in past years have delivered major announcements, including new attraction reveals and first-look footage.
2026 Disney Legends Award Honorees
Disney will honor 11 new Disney Legends at the ceremony on Sunday, August 16, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. PT at the Honda Center, hosted by Ryan Seacrest. The Disney Legends Award is the company’s highest honor, first presented to Fred MacMurray in 1987. Including this year’s class, 329 Disney Legends have been named in the award’s 39-year history.

The 2026 Disney Legends are:
Bob Iger
The former Chairman and CEO of The Walt Disney Company led Disney for two decades. During his tenure, Iger oversaw the acquisitions of Pixar (2006), Marvel (2009), Lucasfilm (2012), and 21st Century Fox (2019), the opening of Shanghai Disney Resort, the launch of Disney+ and ESPN’s direct-to-consumer service, and the release of more than 30 films that each grossed over $1 billion at the global box office. Iger began his career at ABC in 1974, was appointed Disney CEO in October 2005, and led the company until March 2026.

Dwayne Johnson
Johnson voiced the demigod Maui in Disney’s Moana (2016) and reprised the role in Moana 2, which grossed over $1 billion worldwide. He will reinvent the character for the live-action Moana, set for theaters in summer 2026. Johnson’s film career spans more than 40 films with a combined global box office exceeding $15 billion. His recent film The Smashing Machine earned him a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor in a Motion Picture, Drama and an Academy Award nomination for Achievement in Makeup and Hairstyling. Upcoming projects include Lizard Music with director Benny Safdie, an untitled project with Martin Scorsese alongside Leonardo DiCaprio and Emily Blunt, and a film with Darren Aronofsky at A24.

Anne Hathaway
Hathaway’s Disney career began with The Princess Diaries (2001) and The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement (2004). She played the White Queen in Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland (2010) and Alice Through the Looking Glass (2016), and voiced Haru in the 2005 English dub of Studio Ghibli’s The Cat Returns (2002). She will reprise her role as Andy Sachs in The Devil Wears Prada 2, arriving in theaters in May 2026. Lin-Manuel Miranda
The Pulitzer Prize, Grammy, Emmy, and Tony Award-winning songwriter, actor, producer, and director wrote songs for Moana (2016), including “How Far I’ll Go,” which earned an Academy Award nomination. His eight songs for Encanto (2022) all charted on the Billboard Hot 100, with “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” spending five weeks at No. 1 and surpassing 100 million streams. Miranda also starred in Mary Poppins Returns (2018), co-wrote songs for the live-action The Little Mermaid (2023) with Alan Menken, and wrote original songs for Mufasa: The Lion King (2024). He is returning as a producer and music collaborator on Disney’s upcoming live-action Moana.
Jerry Bruckheimer
The most successful film and television producer of all time, Bruckheimer’s credits include the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, Top Gun, National Treasure, and Bad Boys. His most recent film F1 grossed over $631 million globally, becoming the highest-grossing sports movie of all time and receiving four Academy Award nominations including Best Picture. Top Gun: Maverick (2022) earned nearly $1.5 billion at the global box office. In a career spanning more than 50 years, Bruckheimer’s films have collectively grossed nearly $15 billion. He currently produces CBS’s “Bruckheimer Fridays” block (Fire Country, Sheriff Country, Boston Blue) and The Amazing Race.
The Jonas Brothers
Nick, Joe, and Kevin Jonas rose to prominence as Disney Channel stars with Camp Rock (2008), Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam (2010), and their series JONAS (2009-2010). Their 2019 reunion album Happiness Begins went platinum, led by the mega hit “Sucker.” In 2025, they released A Very Jonas Christmas Movie on Disney+ and celebrated their 20th anniversary with JONASCON, drawing over 75,000 fans. An upcoming project includes Camp Rock 3 for Disney Channel. The brothers were honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2023 and a Hand and Footprint ceremony in 2025.

Alan Tudyk
Tudyk has appeared in every Walt Disney Animation Studios feature film since Wreck-It Ralph (2012), voicing characters including King Candy, Heihei in Moana (2016) and Moana 2 (2024), Duke Weaselton in Zootopia (2016) and Zootopia 2 (2025), the Duke of Weselton in Frozen (2013) and Frozen 2 (2019), Tuk Tuk in Raya and the Last Dragon (2021), and Valentino in Wish (2023). He also performed the motion capture for K-2SO in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016).

Susan Egan
Egan originated the role of Belle in Beauty and the Beast on Broadway, earning Tony Award and Drama Desk nominations for Best Actress. She voiced Megara in Hercules (1997). In November 2025, she was named the Official Godmother of the Disney Destiny cruise ship, which features spaces inspired by her roles including Cafe Megara. Through 10th & Main Productions, she produces Disney Princess, The Concert, which has toured 20 countries across five continents since 2021.
Eric Goldberg
One of the animation industry’s top animators, Goldberg designed and animated the Genie in Aladdin (1992), co-directed Pocahontas (1995), animated Phil in Hercules (1997), and directed segments of Fantasia/2000. He oversaw hand-drawn animation for the Emmy-winning short film Once Upon a Studio (2023) and supervised animation on the Donald Duck episode of Hot Ones (2025). He is part of the team supervising film restorations of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Cinderella.

Chris Berman
Berman joined ESPN in 1979 as one of its original broadcasters and helped shape the network into a global sports powerhouse. He was selected as National Sportscaster of the Year six times (1989, 1990, 1993, 1994, 1996, 2001), received the Pete Rozelle Radio-Television Award from the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2010, and was inducted into the Sports Broadcasting Hall of Fame in 2017. ESPN renamed its NFL broadcast studio in his honor in 2017. He will be part of ESPN’s first-ever Super Bowl coverage in 2027.
Kim Irvine
Irvine spent 55 years at Walt Disney Imagineering, serving as Executive Creative Director of the Anaheim office until her retirement in 2024. Her projects include the Rancho Del Zocalo Restaurante, the Disneyland Dream Suite, the refurbishment of “it’s a small world,” Club 33’s remodel, the Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe, and ongoing design supervision of Sleeping Beauty Castle. Her mother, Leota Toombs, was the face of Madame Leota in the Haunted Mansion, and Kim took over the role for the Nightmare Before Christmas overlay in 2001. She was the first female recipient of the Buzz Price Thea Award for Lifetime Outstanding Achievements in 2011.
D23 2026 Show Floor Highlights
The Anaheim Convention Center will host D23’s largest and most innovative show floor ever, with expanded hours on all three days and more than 50 panels and presentations. New experiences for 2026 include:
- Mundo Pixar: The D23 Experience presented by Disney Rewards Visa Cards from Chase, a preview of the immersive walk-through experience touring worldwide with life-size sets from Pixar films
- ESPN and the Road to the Super Bowl, highlighting the intersection of sports and entertainment
- Walt Disney Archives: Uncrated, a new exhibition showcasing props, costumes, and puppets from films, TV series, and theme parks
- Disney Lorcana Challenge Championship Qualifier hosted by Ravensburger, with the winner earning a seat at the 2027 North American Championship
- Activations inspired by Bluey, Camp Rock 3, and The Simpsons
- A display featuring Mickey F1 and a Formula 1 car
Returning experiences include Disney Experiences and Walt Disney Imagineering previews, showcases from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic, Disney+ and Hulu content, and D23 Mousequerade: The Ultimate Disney Costume Contest presented by AT&T.
A new feature-length documentary from filmmaker Leslie Iwerks will also premiere during the event.

D23 Day at Disneyland and City-Wide Celebrations
D23 2026 extends beyond the convention center with a full week of events across Anaheim. The city-wide celebration schedule includes:
- Saturday, August 8: Walt Disney Archives exhibition “Capturing Life, Creating Character: The Art of Live-Action” opens at the Muzeo Museum and Cultural Center (tickets on sale Friday, March 27, at 10 a.m. PT at D23.com)
- Tuesday, August 11: D23 Night at the Anaheim Packing District with music, trivia, fan activities, and the sixth annual World Taste of the Packing District
- Wednesday, August 12: D23 Night at Angel Stadium (Angels vs. Texas Rangers). First 23,000 attendees receive a D23 Mickey Mouse Bobblehead, with 2,300 exclusive gold variants. D23 Members receive a ticket discount, special event spaces, and a commemorative gift.
- Thursday, August 13: D23 Day at Disneyland Resort featuring a Disney Legends Cavalcade, complimentary Mickey Mouse ear hats (while supplies last), and magical surprises. Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Party returns at Disney California Adventure for families with young children.
