It’s the last few days of the year, and everyone has plans! Whether you plan to ring in the new year quietly with friends and family, or you plan to go out and celebrate surviving another year in this wild decade, there’s plenty of ways to celebrate!
SeaWorld Orlando is offering their own way, this year, for guests of all ages! On December 31st (because when else would it be?) SeaWorld is hosting a New Year’s Eve celebration featuring fireworks, treats, music, and even a dedicated event for the little ones to celebrate!
The aquatic park has welcomed guests to celebrate the new year with them, complete with a new twist on longstanding traditions: “As we welcome 2025, immerse yourself in the beauty of the sea and our shared connection to marine life, all while enjoying bold fireworks, festive entertainment, and SeaWorld’s signature touch of wonder.”
By combining the tail end of their Christmas celebration with the New Year’s Eve party, guests are able to spend their daytime hours enjoying the holiday festivities before things kick off in the evening! While the New Year’s Eve event is included with all day admission and does not cost extra to enjoy, SeaWorld does offer some upgrades for guests looking to make this New Year’s Eve a little extra special!
While guests will be able to see the fireworks display at many different locations throughout the park, the prime spot to see the show can be purchased as an upgrade for reserved seating. With 40.00 USD (per person) getting you reserved seating at both the Winter Wonderland on Ice show and the New Year’s Eve Midnight Fireworks Special, it’s definitely worth the upgrade!
However, for those looking to make this event a truly special moment, SeaWorld is also offering a VIP experience at the Sky Tower, in which guests can enjoy an open par at the Sandbar, as well as a champagne toast and chocolates at the top of the Sky Tower during the fireworks show for a truly unforgettable experience. This upgrade is 79.99 USD per person, and will provide a view of the fireworks unlike any other, from 400 ft in the air during the show.
For guests not looking for a VIP experience, though, there’s still plenty to do! DJ Dance Party Zones will be set up throughout the park, so that guests can dance the night away to a variety of family-friendly hits from the 80s to now! DJs play from 8:30 to 12:30 at Wild Arctic, Sharks Plaza, and the Waterfront.
There will also be a DJ Dance Party Zone in Sesame Street Land, which will close down at 11 pm instead, which gives the little ones plenty of time to settle down before the Countdown with the Count.
And for the adults, champagne pop-up bars will be located throughout the park as well, with drinks available at Bayside, Sharks Plaza, Smugglers at the Waterfront, and the Christmas Cocoa Hut at Wild Arctic Plaza. Remember that guests will need to be 21 years or older to purchase alcohol at SeaWorld, and IDs will be required!
Guests can check out SeaWorld’s official page on their New Year’s Eve offerings to purchase upgrades (park admission required, but not included) or to learn more about their individual offerings, by visiting the site [here].
