Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby has a July 9, 2026 first look for Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort, with the restaurant planned above Earl of Sandwich.

Guests can expect classic British fare, including Chef Ramsay’s beef Wellington and sticky toffee pudding. Disney’s first look covers the restaurant space and two signature dishes.

The restaurant

The Carnaby is planned for the west end of Downtown Disney District, where Disneyland Resort has been adding new dining and shopping locations. The restaurant space sits above the recently opened Earl of Sandwich.

The first interior look shows a dining room with green seating, framed wall art, warm lighting, and large windows facing the district. Disney’s public Downtown Disney guide describes the concept as having the Brit pop energy of swinging ’60s London.

For Disneyland visitors, this is not a theme park reservation change or a new in-park dining option. It is a Downtown Disney restaurant addition, which means it will matter most for guests building extra time around hotel stays, park hopping, shopping, or dinner outside the gates.

The food

The two named dishes are beef Wellington and sticky toffee pudding. Those two dishes are the first confirmed food anchors for the restaurant.

The planning question is simple: this is worth watching if you want a higher-profile sit-down meal at Downtown Disney, but it is too early to plan around a reservation window or a specific opening day.

Open now nearby

Earl of Sandwich is now open with menu classics including The Original 1762, The Full Montagu, and The Holiday Turkey, plus sandwiches on artisan breads, soups, salads, sides, breakfast items, and desserts.

Two newer cart options are also part of the west-end update. Big Boi Lumpia serves crispy lumpia in sweet and savory choices with refreshing juices. Happy Ice serves Philadelphia-style Italian ice made from scratch with real fruit, pure cane sugar, and premium ingredients.

Those additions give guests immediate options while The Carnaby remains in the coming-soon stage. If you are already walking the west end, Earl of Sandwich, Big Boi Lumpia, and Happy Ice are the current food stops to check first.

Planning ahead

Disney’s announcement so far covers the restaurant space and its first two signature dishes.

For now, treat Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby as a near-term Downtown Disney watch item, not something to schedule a Disneyland Resort day around yet. The practical move is to keep an eye on Downtown Disney dining updates, then build it into a park day once Disney confirms when guests can actually book or walk in.
